Join one of our Nets
Tuesday Repeater Net: (except on our meeting nights the first Tuesday of each month) at 7:00 pm on the frequency of 445.640. We have two repeaters on this frequency; one located in Altadena (PL tone 156.7) and the second in Downey (PL tone 88.5).
Thursday Simplex Net: at 7:30 pm on the frequency of 145.595
All licensed amateur radio operators welcomed.
DARC is 75 Years Old
From the pages of our Constitution and By-Laws:
“The (original) constitution and bylaws were read and adopted by Charter members of the Downey Amateur Radio Club, Inc., at its second meeting held June 12, 1951”.
